David Brown

David Brown has practiced law for sixteen years. He was lead counsel for a Fortune 75 company in a $100 million contract dispute and has litigated insurance recovery issues against LLoyd's of London. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Missouri.

Mr. Brown has argued and won cases before the Missouri Supreme Court, won jury trials in state and federal court, obtained a federal court judgment in excess of $1 million, and identified and realized an out-of-court settlement in excess of $50 million.

Mr. Brown's clients include interstate power generation and pipeline companies, a global food producer, a national real estate developer, and regional health care providers. Mr. Brown has also provided counsel to an international venture capital fund, regional hospitals, and leading companies in the agriculture, transportation, gaming, and banking industries.

Mr. Brown previously served as Assistant Attorney General, Deputy Director of the Missouri Department of Public Safety, and Special Counsel to the Governor. This experience enables Mr. Brown to guide clients through difficult governmental and regulatory matters.
